DescriptionA Meissen teapot and domed cover, painted in Schwarzlot, with figures and merchants in extensive harbour landscapes. They are within shaped gilt and puce Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches enriched with Böttger-lustre. The bird's head spout and double scroll handle are enriched with puce flower-sprays and gilding, and the domed cover has knop finial.
