DescriptionDu Paquier pilgrim bottle and cover of flattened-pear shape, applied with bearded-mask handles at the sides. It is painted in the Schwarzlot and gilding with two panels showing Amphitrite on a seahorse on one side and two tritons on the reverse. It is surrounded by trellis and Laub und Bandelwerk cartouches, and the similarly decorated cover is mounted in silver gilt.
