DescriptionA blue-glazed 'malling'-type jug with ovoid body, cylindrical neck and simple flat loop-handle. It is covered with a thick blue glaze which flows around the edge of the foot. The base is unglazed with a circular mark in the centre. It has hinged pewter cover with scroll thumb piece and pewter foot-ring.
