DescriptionUrbino Istoriato dish from the Pucci Service, painted by Francesco Xanto. It has Thideo and Polynice fighting in a Renaissance courtyard with the king running out of a doorway to one side with an attendant behind. There is a pool in the foreground and the arms of Pucci centred with a blackamoor head in the upper left corner.
