DescriptionMeissen figure of Harlequin playing the bagpipes modelled by J. J. Kaendler. He is seated on a rocky base with legs slightly crossed, holding under his left arm a bagpipe with both hands grasping gently the chanter, his head turning towards the mouthpiece. He is wearing a round yellow hat, brim up, ruffled collar and shirt. His jacket is soft pink, purple and green, with the sleeves in multi-triangular design and playing cards decoration, and pantaloons and yellow buckled shoes. He stands on a round base with applied flowers and leaves.
