DescriptionArita foliate-rimmed dish, decorated in iron-red, green, blue, yellow and black enamels on underglaze blue lines. The central roundel containing Ho-oh birds preening on a rocky outcrop with branches of tree peony behind. The rim has a continuous band of birds perched amongst stylised flowerheads and foliage.
